Angry Birds is a puzzle video game developed by Finland-based Rovio Mobile, in which players use a slingshot to launch birds at pigs stationed on or within various structures, with the intent of destroying all the pigs on the playfield. Inspired by a simple sketch of stylized wingless birds, the game was first released for Apple's iOS in December 2009.

Since that time, over 12 million copies of the game have been purchased from Apple's App Store, which has prompted the company to design versions for other touchscreen-based smartphones, including those using the Android and the Symbian^3 operating systems. Rovio Mobile has supported Angry Birds with numerous free updates that add additional game content, and the company has even released stand-alone holiday versions of the game.

Angry Birds has been praised for its successful combination of addictive gameplay, comical style, and low price. Its popularity led to versions of Angry Birds being created for personal computers and gaming consoles, a market for merchandise featuring its characters and even long-range plans for a feature film or television series.

With over 50 million downloads across all platforms, the game has been called "one of the most mainstream games out right now" and "one of the great runaway hits of 2010".

In early 2010, Nomura was asked in an interview if Square Enix would release an international Final Mix of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep to which he replied he would like to as he enjoyed the work from the English voice casting done in the previous games.

However, he stated that one of the main reasons for the popularity of the Final Mix version of Kingdom Hearts II was due to the fact that it was released alongside the PlayStation 2 remake of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, so he and the staff would think on it more. In September 2010, Square Enix announced that Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix would be released on January 20, 2011 in Japan.

Like all Final Mix releases, it combines English audio with Japanese game text and subtitles, and includes all additional features implemented in the Western versions as well as brand new content, such as a new playable secret episode. Alongside The 3rd Birthday, Final Mix includes a code that will allow players to get new downloadable content from the upcoming Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy , with Final Mix featuring the Kingdom Hearts outfit for the character Cloud Strife.

Most missions in each campaign include the player blowing something up, killing a certain number of enemies, stealing enemy intel, and then sometimes returning to a certain location to escape.

There are three different levels to be attained in each level, bronze, silver and gold. To score bronze the player has to complete all primary objectives. To score silver he must complete the primary and secondary objectives.

Gold is the same as silver but the player must have high accuracy and kills. Obtaining these different levels increases the player's rank and helps the player complete the game by 100%. As the player progresses in the game he can unlock skins to use in multiplayer and skirmish mode.
